Capelli Sports
From WordPress to Shopify A Seamless Migration for Growth
About Capelli Sports
Capelli Sport is a global sportswear and footwear brand founded in 2011 and headquartered in New York City. With a strong focus on team sports, especially soccer, the brand offers high-performance apparel, footwear, and accessories designed for athletes of all levels. Operating across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, Capelli Sport blends functionality, innovation, and style to deliver gear that meets the demands of the modern game.
The project
Capelli Sports needed a transition from Wordpress to Shopify.
With the growing customer base and product category, the brand found their current platform incapable of flexibility to let the brand scale. Their store’s design also needed a revamp - to align with the growing capabilities, vision, and resonate with the audience.
But the migration process wasn’t as smooth, due to following underlying challenges
01
A large & scattered Customer Data
02
No scope of Downtime
03
Revamping the entire store’s look and feel
04
Maintaining SEO rankings
The Solution
We knew a fast-moving brand like Capelli Sport needed a platform as dynamic and scalable as they are. Shopify was the obvious choice, and there was no better team to make that transition seamless than IT Geeks, a Shopify Premier Partner.
Why Shopify?
Because growth needs a platform that grows with you.
Capelli Sport needed more than just a website. They needed a powerful E-commerce engine. Shopify offered exactly that, and more:
Shopify wasn’t just a switch; it was a strategic upgrade for a brand ready to conquer more fields.

What Capelli Sports Says
“Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.”
